Rooted in family.
Grown with love.
Three generations, two dozen goats, and a whole lot of heart. Welcome to Hollow Oak Acres.
A wife, mother, daughter, and farm hand.
Hi, I'm Shelley, and my days are full in the best possible way. I have always been blessed with a happy, optimistic outlook, which sometimes gets me into trouble. I always think I can.
I wear a lot of hats out here: business owner, soap maker, event host, animal caretaker, cook, baker, and occasional goat wrangler. But at the heart of it all, I am just someone who found my passion and never looked back.
Pictured here with three of my favourite farm hands. Hollow Oak Acres is the life Ike and I built together, and every product we make grows from that. We are so glad you found your way here.
Five kids, and one incredibly supportive husband.
My husband Ike and I have five children who are mostly grown now. Three have already earned their degrees, and two are still at home finishing college. I am proud of every single one of them.
We love to cook and bake together, host events out on the farm, and create experiences people can enjoy in the country. Family is the reason we do all of this, and the reason it keeps growing.
Three generations, one farm.
My parents Charlie and Gayle also reside at Hollow Oak Acres, helping care for the animals, keeping up the grounds, and staying deeply involved in everything we do: the grandkids, the events, and every quiet moment that makes this farm feel like home.
Three generations, one property, one purpose. That isn't something we planned. It's just what love looks like when you give it room to grow.
Our little slice of heaven on earth.
Shelley, founder of Hollow Oak Acres
It started with two little goats named Sugar & Spice.
What began as a love for animals grew into something none of us could have predicted. Our first Nigerian Dwarf goats, Sugar and Spice, lived with us in our home for the first four weeks of their lives. We bottle-fed them, watched them leap and play, and formed a friendship that changed everything.
We loved them so much we added Lily and Willow the following year, and they too took up temporary residency in the living room. From six goats to twenty-three and counting, the herd has grown right alongside the family.
We hand-milk at least twice a day. Every drop of goat milk in our products starts right here, with animals we know by name, raised with love on land we cherish. That fresh, daily milk goes straight into every small-batch product we make, so when it reaches you, it is as pure and nourishing as it gets.

Lily & Willow, the day we brought them home, September 2020.
From Sugar and Spice to a farm full of life.
What started with two Nigerian Dwarf goats in the living room grew into something we never could have planned. The herd expanded, the hens arrived, then the ducks found the pond, the cows took to the pasture, and somehow a very self-assured cat decided this was home too. Each animal has a name, a personality, and a permanent place in the story of this farm.
Life is better with dogs.
Meet Hank, Daisy, and Huck. Hank is our gentle giant at 80 lbs, with muddy paws that prove he takes his job seriously. Daisy joined us as a rescue in April 2026 and settled in at a majestic 140 lbs like she was always meant to be here. And then there is Huckleberry, Huck for short, who brings his own charm and energy to the farm every single day.
Rounding out the crew is Cowboy, our handsome black Labrador grand-dog, along with a few more beloved grand-dogs who visit often and make themselves very much at home. Life on a farm is better with dogs, and we are lucky to have the best ones.
Goat milk soap. Now so much more.
It started as a way to share the abundance of our land, but it became a mission to provide skincare that is as honest and hardworking as the farm itself. I have always believed that what you put on your skin matters just as much as what you put in your body. No synthetic detergents. No harsh chemicals. No shortcuts. And what better use for the rich, nourishing goat milk from our own herd than to create natural, handcrafted skincare products that feel good to use?
Full of naturally occurring fats and nutrients, goat milk is the heart of everything we make. What started as soap grew into a whole range: lotions, scrubs, salve, beard care, bath soaks, and more. Every product made the same way, with the same care, right here at Hollow Oak Acres.
Hollow Oak Acres grew from a family dream into something we now get to share with you. We are so glad you found us.

Goat milk has been used in skincare for centuries, and for good reason. It is naturally rich, creamy, and loved for the gentle way it leaves skin feeling clean and nourished.
Every product we make at Hollow Oak Acres starts with fresh goat milk from our own herd, not powder, not reconstituted, not imported. Real milk, from animals we know by name, harvested the same morning it goes into your soap.

Real results, real people.
"I love this lotion! I started to use it on my face in combination with the soap and it's cleared up my rosacea! My 5 year old also loves it, and he's not a fan of lotion despite having sensitive and dry skin. This has been a total WIN in our home. Thank you Shelley!"
"Wonderful experience and my absolute favourite lotion, and I'm a very tough lotion critic. I will continue to buy for myself and friends. I can't say enough good things about the goat milk soap bars and lotions."
"I don't want any other kind of lotion now that I have this. It is genuinely the best lotion I have ever used for my sensitive, allergic skin. Nothing from Hollow Oak Acres has ever irritated my allergies or eczema. I will be a serial re-order-er!"
"Shelley at Hollow Oak always does an excellent job. Prompt service, quality products, and if you haven't visited for the in person soap making class, I recommend it. Playing with baby goats when she has them are a big bonus!"
"I always love and appreciate everything I order from Hollow Oak Acres. I'm a lifelong forever customer. I don't buy soap from the store. This is what I use all over. The best! Thanks Shelley."
"I had to try something natural for my young son's very sensitive and very dried out skin from too much pool time this summer, and this has been working! The dry, bumpy patches are going away and he feels so much smoother and more comfortable."
Made with care. Shared with love.
